Thurston 'Turk' Hammond is a traveling iron salesman who is overweight, in a love-lost marriage, and in a career that is the furthest thing from fulfilling. Moments before his eagerly anticipated annual review, his billionaire boss suddenly dies. Before the old man is in the ground, the board of directors begins laying employees off, Turk included. Out of work, out of shape, and out of sorts with his wife...Turk has a meltdown and relocates to the shed in his backyard where he sleeps on a bench between the lawnmower and a shovel. In his despair, Turk squeezes out a prayer hoping it gets answered. And it does...by the ghost of his former boss who has come back to give him the review he missed, but this time - it's a review of his life.
