God is angry again.

A reprehensible act of child enslavement pushes God beyond the limits of his mercy and, enraged at the inherent evil of his wicked children, he scraps the final act of humanity. Its replacement: The Book of Beriah.

Recalling three demons from the depths of darkness and time, he unleashes them on the Isle of Saint Brigid, a remote island in the Indian Ocean peopled by Indigenous and European Australians. The small nation feigns respectability but, in truth, is ruled by a savvy warlord, the aged and wise Ponto. His iniquitous domain offers the festering wound in which the demons’ malevolence may foment. Their machinations entangle four star-crossed lovers, roust a mysterious race of shapeshifting felids from obscurity and draw forth a deadly plague of hideous goat demons from the bowels of the earth.

As the melting moon first rises over a waning world, the Creator revokes his forgiveness and abandons his wayward children to torment. Will humanity see its end?
