Alberto Chimal es escritor mexicano que se ha dedicado principalmente al cuento y la novela. En paralelo ha ejercido la enseñanza de la escritura creativa como profesor y divulgador. Está catalogado como "uno de los principales exponentes de la literatura fantástica iberoamericana".
