The killing takes place in Gallo's hometown and puts him face to face with the high school sweetheart he left behind when he joined the Marines. His efforts to win her back are not well received. She's moved on; he hasn't. The murder investigation, spirals into the world of organized crime, uncovers police corruption at the highest levels and puts Gallo in the crosshairs of Irish Mafia gangsters responsible for one of the greatest bank heists in state history.Gallo survives two attempts on his life but some of those working with him do not. Undeterred, these attacks steel his resolve to bring the criminals to justice. Frank has published two previous novels, "The Lady in Black", "The Final Word," and "Murder at Fort Revere." Frank is a former Marine Captain with service in Vietnam. He had a thirty-seven-year career in education before turning to writing. He served as a teacher, high school principal and public school superintendent in California.
