The Recco (en Inglés) - Falkland L. Cary

Unsuspecting travelling representative Richard Dixon stumbles upon a wayside inn named The Recco (a corruption of the word "Re-echo"), a strange and unsettling place full of secrets from the past.

In a bar Richard accidentally overhears the landlord, Mr Ezard, talking to a local woman named Mary Hendry, plotting to murder Mrs Ezard so they can run away together. Shortly after their departure, Mrs Ezard enters the bar to speak with Richard. She ominously reflects on how the current thick fog perfectly mirrors a night exactly two years ago. The eerie coincidence leaves Richard and the audience to unravel the chilling cycle of fate and foul play at the inn.
