The Rosiewicz File (en Inglés) - J. R. Wacław

They crossed an ocean and changed their name. The past followed them.

Russian Poland, 1904. Captain Wacław Rosiewicz controls what moves in and out of the Russian Empire along the Vistula River. The Imperial household trusts him for reasons no official record can explain. An officer of the Tsar’s service has begun to wonder why.

Some secrets are too dangerous to keep-and too important to lose. So one family carries theirs across an ocean, changes its name, and teaches its children to ask no questions.

But the men who hunted them in Russia do not forget.

More than a century later, an old Bible finds its way home. With it comes a single page covered in handwriting and numbers-and questions the family was taught never to ask.

The search for answers brings a hidden past within reach. It also draws the attention of people who have waited generations for those same answers.

Inspired by the author’s own family history, The Rosiewicz File is a sweeping historical thriller of loyalty, sacrifice, and the secrets parents keep to protect their children, spanning Imperial Russia, America’s heartland, and the present day.
