The Sequin Embroidery- In October 1898, the German Emperor Wilhelm II made a trip to the East. In Istanbul, he meets Sultan Abdul Hamid II, and plans to build the Berlin-Baghdad railway in an effort to rival England's trade and cut off the overland route to India. However, keeping pace with the project requires, before anything else, paving the way for the German merchants to Mosul Province (Vilâyet) and getting ready to establish a textile industry that transcends the English one. And who's better than Einor Hans, the daughter of a German father and a Turkish mother, who works as a tour guide at Thomas Cook travel agency, at doing this task?
