A marching order handed down to SP Dickson to effect the release of Justice Abass, the Federal High Court Judge abducted right in his court auditorium by a daring gang of hoodlums better known as the Infinite Group, ultimately thrusts the prolific detective onto the forefront of the fierce showdown against the very powerful and connected oil cartel calling the shots in the estimated $25,000,000 per day illegal oil bunkering industry. Spurred into action by the increasingly alarming scale of the economic crime and huge revenue losses to the government, the President goes all out to intensify the campaign against the big-time economic saboteurs. The cartel violently resist attempts to put them out of the extremely lucrative 'business' and are poised to literarily set the country on fire and drag the country back at least fifty years to make their brutal point crystal clear. Critical infrastructure like the famous 13.2km Third Mainland Bridge, the Atlas Cove Oil Terminal, Tincan Island Port, 1320 Mega Watt capacity Egbin Thermal Power Plant and other power, telecommunication, military and Oil and Gas installations are in grave danger of becoming history. The cartel, awash with illegal petro-dollars, have the war chest to wipe out Dickson and his entire generation off the surface of the earth. And of course, more than enough financial muscle and clout to eliminate the President; if the situation demands for it.
