"The Stir Scene" is a novel about Haigh, a young woman, plagued by illness, despair, visions, and the musicians who believe she is their reincarnated friend. Elian's friends try their hardest to convince Haigh that she is Elian to the point of intimidation, but she doesn't want to be the Cinderella to fill the dead man's shoes. The only thing that keeps her coming back is her interest in Elian's journals. They seem to hold many answers along with mystical secrets. The key to her illness, her longing, and her visions may rest in the grasp of the dead man and the world of the Stir Scene.
