The world as we know it is crumbling. Annamaria, a young adult living in the town of Fallwood is living in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. She discovers that the aftermath itself isn't the end to any of this, while still being in a prison where she questions all hope and her humanity before her escape. She seeks revenge on her ex-lover Fire, whom she slept with in exchange for supplies and food. Fire put Annamaria in prison for ruining her life as she knows it. Every character has a backstory and each one is more complex than the other. Will Annamaria get her revenge and will the aftermath ever end? Told through the perspective of at least a few more many characters, the book takes you deep into the hearts and minds of other survivors living in a dark and gloomy time where the only fear they have, is the undead that feast on the flesh of other humans.
