The Sustainability World Cup. A quadrennial event taking place across the globe. An opportunity for the World to showcase their most brilliant and amazing creations on the grandest stage of them all. The best and most inventive ideas come together as countries present their inventions in a bid to become World Champion but more importantly, to build a more sustainable future! Hosted this year by the United Arab Emirate of Dubai, which nation will rise above the rest to be crowned the winner of the Sustainability World Cup?...

The story is about a fictional event in the style and format of the World Cup (in this instance hosted in Dubai in the UAE). Countries compete against each other in front of an audience to present their invention or contribution to making the World more globally sustainable. The story itself includes representation from various nations including: India, Norway, Canada, Australia, Belarus, The United Kingdom, Finland, Costa Rica, France, Tunisia, Denmark and the United Arab Emirates (host nation). The entries presented by each nation have been researched and are genuine areas that the country has explored as a means of combatting Climate Change (for example the Energy Islands of Denmark and Environmental Awareness app in France). The concept of a World Cup is a means of drawing interest from a demographic of young readers that may otherwise be reluctant to read or to develop an interest in the Environment and the struggles that we face as a global community.

A story designed to teach young minds about the importance of caring for the World and of working together and uniting nations to overcome global struggles such as Climate Change and Global Warming.
