The trifling trilogy is a comparison of two couples. One couple could be considered the best union that anyone has ever witnessed. The second couple however are not viewed as noble at all. While the city where these couples live are being plagued by a rapist/serial killer the story follows the life of the characters and builds the suspense of the person who may be responsible for these rapes/murders. The victims are also infected with a mysterious virus. In Volume 1 Leon Lovelace one of the most prominent people in the city is accused of the crimes. Eventually he is acquitted and released, marries the love of his life Elizabeth Evangelista, and is blessed with a child. Meanwhile, Ileana Indica (Eyez) a promiscuous woman abnormally falls in love with a womanizer Frederick Ferguson (Free). Eyez and Free both want to be together even though they live lives that neither of them would approve. Volumes II and III will follow.
