Everyone suffers from mental health issues but July feels alone in it all even when surrounded by support from everyone. A girl struggling from major depressive disorder loses her ability to care for herself so she's admitted to a psychiatric hospital by her parents where she meets a boy named Flinch that turns her life around. As July and Flinch get closer they make a promise that they will both get better so they can leave the hospital but only time knows how long a promise will last.
