This is an integrated diet book based on the very best scientific data on obesity. It is an addiction process. These are managed by finding one's particular triggers and how to deal with each. The methods include avoiding, substitution, and transcending. Examples, strategies, and recipes for every particular trigger are included. Transcending the addiction process means putting it into a larger context. The best/most effective way of doing that is to include others in the process. Towards that end, the book has the last section left incomplete for you to become the author of it and then resell it to friends and family. This only is effective if the book is transgressively humorous (making one want to do ANYTHING to lose weight after one has literally put one's name on it).... said the person who is 164lb./20 bmi and dropping down form 190 pounds/31 bmi. And, to summarize, it is the Way of the Devil because we've fallen from grace and unlike the rest of creation will Never be able to automatically know how much to eat ever again. It is the Way of the Devil because the triggers of eating are Pride (habit), greed, gluttony, lust, wrath, envy, and sloth. It is the Way of the Devil because when we believe we are on the side of the Angels and doing and eating all the right things.... that never works out. And, finally, it is the Way of the Devil because I/we are using this book like a chain letter or Ponzie scheme to brainwash ourselves into losing weight.
