How we see God will greatly impact how we see ourselves, how we see others, and how we see the circumstances in our lives. We truly must walk by faith and not by sight, and that happens most effectively when we keep our eyes upon the source of our faith. Danger lurks when we allow our vision of anything to become bigger than our perspective of God. It can happen so quickly; we can take our eyes off of Him and find ourselves spiraling toward a place we never would choose to go. We can partake of things that He has commanded us to avoid. We can become enemies of ourselves and everyone around us. We can become so fearful that we essentially become lifeless and useless to Him, to us, and to others. It can all happen quickly as we see through our own eyes. The purpose of this book is to move us all to a place of seeing all things through the eyes of Jesus. Perspective is crucial, and only through His eyes will all things be clearly seen and understood.
