Reseña del libro "Ticklesaurus Ted (en Inglés)"
THE ANTI-BULLYING COLLECTION - BOOK ONE (SEPTEMBER 2023)I have edited and relaunched the book. I now understand the reason many of my stories involve a bully and a victim. As a young child, I was small, skinny and anxious - an absolute prime target for bullies. I believed I was the problem and I had to change. I spent years obsessing about being taller and less skinny. When people complimented me, I assumed they were trying to save my feelings. The bullies were the honest ones. I looked at popular people and tried to be more like them. It made me so unhappy, and my mental health was damaged. But, eventually, through talking and meditation, I realised I was good enough. I did have qualities. I learned to love myself. It took a long time, but I am finally happy. This is the first book in the anti-bullying collection. I want children to embrace who they are, and I don't want it to take over 30 years. The world needs more people who step outside the box society has created for us. Embrace your kookiness and realise that being different makes you interesting and wonderfully unique. Embrace being you! 'Hairy belly orange and smelly, You're NOT a dinosaur!'Follow Ted's journey as he stands up to a bully and discovers that being different makes him special! When Ted visits the Dino Park, he's teased for being different. However, after he faces a bully, finds a friend, and makes an important discovery, he realises that being different makes us special!Ticklesaurus Ted is an adorable and beautifully illustrated story full of colour, fun rhymes, and dinosaurs! It is also a great way to show your children they are special."Fantastic anti-bullying book which helps get the message over to kids in a fun way that everyone doesn't need to be the same and it's ok to be different - it's what makes you special!""Kids loved the story and the pictures.
