As a young child, I was small, skinny and anxious - an absolute prime target for bullies. I believed I was the problem and I had to change. I spent years obsessing about being taller and less skinny. When people complimented me, I assumed they were trying to save my feelings. The bullies were the honest ones. I looked at popular people and tried to be more like them. It made me so unhappy, and my mental health was damaged. But, eventually, through talking and meditation, I realised I was good enough. I did have qualities. I learned to love myself. It took a long time, but I am finally happy. This is the first book in the anti-bullying collection. I want children to embrace who they are, and I don't want it to take over 30 years.
