$ 85.93The LNCS journal Transactions on Large-scale Data and Knowledge-centered Systems focuses on data management systems and knowledge processing, which are core and hot topics in computer science. Over recent decades, the widespread adoption of parallel and distributed architectures, cloud systems, and intelligent infrastructures has led to an evolution of data- and knowledge-management systems from centralized systems to decentralized systems enabling large-scale data applications providing high scalability and elasticity.
This, the 60th issue of TLDKS, entitled “Data and Information Management – Optimization, Cybersecurity and Applications – COSI 2025”, presents a selection of five thoroughly revised and extended papers addressing contemporary challenges at the intersection of optimization and cybersecurity. The included contributions reflect a broad spectrum of timely research topics, ranging from combinatorial optimization in graph structures and metaheuristic approaches to influence maximization, to secure communication in peer-to-peer networks, cybersecurity investment strategies, and quantum-resistant authentication mechanisms for smart grids. Together, these works highlight the critical role of integrating optimization techniques with robust security frameworks to address the demands of next-generation data and information management systems.
