Treasure Trails is the definitive collection of short stories from author Simon Lake - bringing together a selection of published and previously unpublished works written between the years 2003 and 2010.

With settings as diverse as an Elvis convention in Glasgow, a snowbound bookstore in Montreal through to a populist uprising in Eastern Europe, these fourteen stories capture pivotal moments in the lives of an assorted cast of loners, misfits amd outsiders.

Blending atmosphere, imagination and a strong sense of place, the author maps out a compelling landscape where chance meetings bring strangers together as they navigate their way through a range of ordinary and sometimes extraordinary events.

Simon Lake is a writer and musician residing in Cornwall. His band The Goodbye Look have released an album and a number of singles and EPs. He also records music as Autumn Country and has contributed to various other projects for the label LR2. Treasure Trails is his first published collection of short stories.
