If you are a beginner, this is the right book for you. It takes you from the early stage, and step by step, guides you up into becoming a good trumpet. When you read any chapter of the book you feel as if the author is just there in front of you, leading you, in a homely language, through and up to the main point of any section of the chapter. It helped me, aged 87 and slightly death and with a decaying memory to reach the end of the method used by my local music instructor.
