David Levithan (Nueva Jersey, 1972) es un reconocido autor y editor estadounidense, destacado por su contribución a la literatura juvenil con temáticas LGBTQ+. Graduado en Literatura Inglesa y Ciencias Políticas por la Universidad de Brown, ha desempeñado un papel clave como director editorial en Scholastic y fundador del sello PUSH, dedicado a descubrir nuevos talentos en la literatura juvenil . Su obra se caracteriza por abordar con sensibilidad y originalidad las experiencias de jóvenes queer, consolidándolo como una voz influyente en el género.
