Unsung Heroes (en Inglés) - Alfie Ward

The memoir details encountering 'Unsung Heroes' in Turkey, Iran, and Central Asia. 

Persian rug sellers, olive farmers, earthquake survivors, barbers, as well as micro-finance projects in Turkmenistan.

Alfie - a committed follower of Jesus - intended to live in a small town until he died. He almost did. Until a stroke struck him in 2020. 

In the UK living is black and white using shades of grey. Alfie for sure preferred multicoloured life in the Middle East and along the Silk Road where he lived for decades.
