Charlie Heggensford, Idaho farm boy turned L.A. fluffer for hire, has gotten himself into trouble again. With Rock Harding touring overseas and Charlie's knees getting more of a workout than his better judgment, his boss Kinitia Jones has one suggestion: get out of town.

Vancouver seems safe enough. Charlie's good friend and former bear adult film star Brent Harrington is there, running a pet store and bowling in a league that suddenly needs a sub. Charlie is happy to step in, throwing balls down the alley by day and giving new meaning to "pin action" in the back room by night.

Then a string of pet store break-ins puts a hot police inspector squarely on Brent's tail, and the evidence stacking up against his friend is no joke. Charlie does what Charlie does best: takes matters into his own hands, creates spectacular havoc, and follows the clues wherever they lead. He makes his way through hunky deliverymen, edgy and steamy clubs, and the surprisingly scandalous world of competitive bowling.
