Watcher takes place in the universe of the Guardians series, taking Guardians and Seers into the past. In the first Guardians trilogy, we meet a modern young Seer who explores the nature of Guardians with the help of her friends. The Seer Chronicles is a darker tale, containing disturbing themes inherent in a society structured around slavery. In this era, even a Seer is not safe from the horrors that humans can inflict on each other. However, despite the perils of such a time, people will always manage to find love.
