When Silence Speaks (en Inglés) - Travis Wood

One accident took my hearing. It didn’t take my voice - it just changed the language it speaks in.

The crash happened in seconds. The silence that followed hasn’t ended since. I wake up in a world with no sound - no sirens, no voices, no Mom telling me it’s going to be okay. Just a silence so total it feels like drowning.

Learning to live without sound means learning to see everything differently - including the boy who never asks me to be anyone other than who I am now. Tommy speaks in a language of hands and patience, and for the first time since the accident, someone isn’t waiting for me to go back to who I was.

But this town remembers who we used to be, and some silences run deeper than the one in my ears. Healing means finding my voice again - not the one I lost, but one I didn’t know I had.

A tender, unflinching story about loss, identity, and the kind of love that doesn’t need sound to be heard.
