Andorf suffers from terrible nightmares long after Serin's death. His friends and his kids advise him to leave her behind and move on. Years later, his son, Sarak, constructs a teleportal device for transporting people between armada starships. Though time-slippage flaws are resolved in later teleportal revisions, the Goshi ponders about reintroducing the flaw in order to send him into the past to prevent his beloved's death.
