"Words to Live By," is to help you understand the Bible better and to live a Christian life. I did the best I could in writing it. However, do not take my word or even the translations I used without checking for yourself to see if what is written is true.Much of this 100,000-word book is written in modern English. However, it will have quotation marks like a novel. After each book, there will also be commentary by me, the author. This will shed light on many misunderstood teachings.Often it is difficult to understand what the Bible is saying because it was written so long ago and with many words that are no longer used. There have been dozens of translations of the Bible, but many versions do not make the meaning of the passages clear. This book will read more like it was originally written---as letters from Apostle Paul, Peter and others to the early church.If we read what was said to those early saints, we can find the truth about many things. Things such as: what happens when you die? Do we go straight to heaven? Should we keep the Sabbath and which day is the Sabbath? Should we keep Passover, the Day of Pentecost and the other holy days of God? What does it mean to "be born again?" Is Christ coming back to earth for His people? He is coming before the Great Tribulation, in the middle of it, or after it is over? Some do not believe He is returning at all, so what's the answer? Will Christians have to go through the Great Tribulation? How will we know the Antichrist? Can we eat anything or is God's dietary laws still valid, and many other questions?
