At only 14 years old Terrel Porter was quickly becoming famous in the hood. He was already one of the most recruited and sought after high school basketball players in the city. Terrel wanted to be famous, but not for basketball. He wanted to be famous in the hood for doing some gangsta type ish........ Terrel got his wish when he teamed up with his buddy Gene and the two went on a robbing spree. He began to be known for more than just playing basketball. Terrel was finally starting to get the clout in the hood that he'd always dreamed of. A close call and the realization that he'd almost threw his future away helps to makes Terrel aware that he is not built for the street life. He quits the life of crime and focuses on school and using the god-given basketball talents that he was lucky enough to be blessed with. Just as he begins to get on track, Terrel finds out that his girlfriend is pregnant with his baby. Against the advice of everyone in his life, Terrel decides to drop out of school and get a job so he can care for his girlfriend and soon to be born child. Terrel enjoys living the life of a working man, father, and loyal boyfriend. He never regrets his decision to give up his NBA dreams for his family. Terrel's life will be turned upside down when he is unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Terrel finds himself in the county jail. He quickly finds out that there are only two types of people in the jail....the prey and the predator. Terrel refuses to be anyone's prey and he fights! He fights everyday in the jail just to survive. He fights to try to keep his family together while he's behind bars. The biggest fight of them all is the one that he will fight in the courtroom to prove his innocence!
