Reseña del libro "YOU'RE NOT BROKEN (en Inglés)"

For years, I told doctor after doctor the same story: periods that came whenever they pleased, skin that wouldn't clear, weight that wouldn't move, hair in all the wrong places. I was told to relax more, eat less, and stop worrying so much. It took nearly a decade before anyone said the words "polycystic ovary syndrome" - and when they finally did, I cried in a parking lot, not from fear, but from relief. You're Not Broken is the book I wish someone had handed me that day, instead of a pamphlet and a follow-up appointment card. This is not a clinical manual. It's the honest, first-person story of what it actually feels like to be dismissed, diagnosed, and slowly - imperfectly - understood again: the years of medical gaslighting, the food guilt, the grief of an unpredictable cycle, the quiet shame of a mirror that stopped feeling like mine, and the fear and hope tangled up in questions about fertility. It's also the story of finding my people, and finally learning to live well instead of just managing symptoms one day at a time.If you've ever been told nothing is wrong with you while everything in your body said otherwise, this book is for you. You are not broken. You were just waiting to be understood.
