If anything he's broken hearted, torn between what his heart is used to, and what it wants now. When he drinks his ex-girlfriend and love of his life Rachel, come to mind. But when he's drinking one night it's Kimberley he's thinking about. In a deep, real life filled novel, you find out that life, love, heartbreak, tears and strength can mold a person into who they will become. You also realize that no matter how bad you want things to play out, you can't control life.
