As they grow older, each surprises himself by settling down with one woman and begins to experience the gritty reality of a day-to-day relationship. The unresolved sexual tensions inexorably boil to the surface and generate remorseless, unrelenting momentum that sends both characters hurtling toward one of the most traumatizing climaxes in modern fiction. Michael Lawrence Fleisher fue un guionista y editor estadounidense nacido en 1942 y fallecido en 2018, reconocido por su estilo oscuro, violento y psicológico que marcó una época en los cómics de los años setenta y ochenta. Antes de dedicarse por completo al guion, estudió antropología y trabajó en la industria editorial, experiencia que influyó en su obsesión por explorar los límites morales de la humanidad y la justicia.
