She had a good friend, Angela Amos who shared almost everything with Filly.Filly's sister, Desdemona, also didn't like the given name her mother had given her so she always went by Mona. Angela introduced Filly to Randy Stone, a warehouse manager who also was a champion motorcycle racer. Angela and Randy had been together but never meshed as a couple.
