Joseph "Joe" Kelly es un escritor, dibujante y editor estadounidense nacido en 1971, reconocido por su trabajo en cómics y series de animación. Estudió en la Tisch School of the Arts de Nueva York, donde actualmente enseña escritura para proyectos de animación y guiones de cómic. Comenzó su carrera en Marvel Comics, trabajando en títulos como Los 4 Fantásticos 2099 y Marvel Fanfare.

Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran Soy una matagigantes (2008), Masacre 2 (2010) y Patrulla-X: Renovación 3 - Guerra Psíquica (2011). Estas obras han sido reconocidas por su calidad y han recibido premios en el ámbito del cómic
