For over four years, I have been writing a daily devotion on social media. What started out years ago as a thought for the day has become stories and insight from a very ordinary woman that sees his hand in the everyday, mundane, routine. My faith is rock solid as I have seen his evidence in my life too many times to mention. There is no deep theological jargon in my stories. They rather are simple, easy to understand stories in regard to how he reaches down and touches my life through the most extraordinary of circumstances to the quiet moments reading the Bible or sitting quietly in his presence in prayer. There are stories of our experiences in the beloved mountains in Montana and the wildlife that surrounds us, especially two raucous stellar blue jays, of words that he calls to mind, like compromise or recipes or challenges with technology or people. It is my prayer that maybe you will find a bit of humor or a heart tug here and there as you read this light-hearted book and maybe you will find yourself in his presence.
