If boredom is the Devil's playground, celibacy most certainly calls forth his Mardi Gras of all bashes. Jessica and Toby are roommates whose lifestyles have diverged sharply from one another over the past several years. Something has to change and that usually involves some growing pains. Jess hopes to transform her lame routine by escaping to her uncle's condo, leaving a city she feels is stifling herself. The scheming begins in Miami and moves down the causeway to Key Largo for the summer, where things quickly get out of control. Island living is supposed to be a tranquil sort, which it is for most. These childhood friends, however, have a way of attracting both the hottest of new acquaintances and seedy opportunists alike with the same magnetism. A rock'n little bar at the water's edge, becomes the headquarters to usher in Jess' new sexual agenda as well as the warping of a female based "travel agency." Promiscuity breaks all barriers here, as does everything else associated with moral fiber it seems. You might say, they rewrite societies code for the acceptable; or simply trash it. They're not alone in the way of desires and goals, of course...latching on to new friends that complicate day-to-day operations to the point of having to laugh at themselves. The group of fiery ladies aren't sure how it all comes about, yet somehow their lives soon intertwine with kidnappers and worse yet, find themselves having to mop clean several homicides. Nothing shots at the bar can't mend mind you, but nothing found in the brochures either. The summer flock of young and fine looking men on break in the Keys, embrace the new crew of Captain Jack's and to be sure, will never forget. Intimate relationships churn in and out of control, yet satisfaction never seems to allude these tireless participants. Herein, rests a story filled with deception, sarcasm, overflowing lust and a splash of treacherous adventure. All ending, ironically; rather happily due to a little luck and a sizable amount of forgiveness along the way. For the majority who survive that is.
