Jotunn and Sky are both abandoned kittens. Jotunn was found in a drain, and Sky was found in a groove he fell into whilst fleeing a pack of dogs. Both kittens are taken to a shelter where they are bathed and cared for. Later, a couple, Mr. and Mrs. Carter, visit the animal rescue shelter in search of their newest family member. They come across the kittens and adopt them both. Jotunn and Sky now need to learn to get along with each other, trust each other and the Carters, and most importantly feel safe within their new family. The book Jotunn and Sky Find Home, is the first book in the Jotunn and Sky series. The main theme that Preea wanted to convey in this book is about becoming a family and feeling safe within that family unit, despite the differences in each of the main characters' lineage
