The idea was abhorrent to her, but then she met the man they had chosen to 'seduce' her, the charismatic Frenchman, Raoul du Lamond. Finding herself falling in love with him, she was dismayed when he had to return to France to attend to his vineyards. If she wants to see Raoul again, she will have to sign the TV contract without any guarantee that he will be her sexual partner. She doesn't know if she will ever see him again, and she certainly doesn't know what the TV company have in store for her once she has signed.
