(Budapest, 1953) Kathy es una amante de la naturaleza, estudió Estudios Ambientales y Filosofía en la Universidad de Waterloo. Aunque siempre fue una ávida lectora, Kathy no descubrió su amor por la escritura hasta 1994. Fue entonces cuando comenzó a escribir "Un susurro en mi corazón" como un intento de describir a su hija cómo había sido la vida para ella como nueva inmigrante en Canadá a la edad de 10 años.
