English summary: In the ten studies contained in this collection of essays, Matthias Kockert deals with the biblical basis of Christian ethics. He examines the changes in understanding the law in the literary history of the Old Testament and their theological conceptions. Each of the studies is a separate entity. Their subjects are Deuteronomy, the priestly documents (the examples used are circumcision, Passover, the Sabbath and sanctuary), the Sabbath Commandment, the fear of God and love for one's fellow men as the sum of the law in Lev 19, ethical problems with respect to unborn life in Ex 21, the law and prophecy, for example in Amos 1-2 and Deut 18 as well as Luther's interpretation of the Decalogue in his catechisms. German description: Matthias Kockert befasst sich in den zehn Studien dieser Aufsatzsammlung mit der biblischen Grundlegung einer christlichen Ethik. Er untersucht die Wandlungen des Gesetzesverstandnisses in der Literargeschichte des Alten Testaments und die damit verbundenen theologischen Konzeptionen. Die Studien konnen jeweils fur sich gelesen werden. Behandelt werden das Deuteronomium, die Priesterschrift (an den Beispielen Beschneidung, Passa, Sabbat und Heiligtum), das Sabbatgebot, Gottesfurcht und Nachstenliebe als Summe des Gesetzes in Lev 19, ethische Probleme angesichts des ungeborenen Lebens in Ex 21, Gesetz und Prophetie am Beispiel von Am 1-2 und Dtn 18 sowie Luthers Auslegung des Dekalogs in seinen Katechismen.
