Life lessons Learned Through Sparing is about the authors observations he has made throughout his twenty plus years of training in the martial arts. He had observed that mistakes he made when he was sparring in the gym with his fellow students reflected similar mistakes he was making in the rest of his life. For example if he was running away in the ring, he maybe avoiding dealing with other areas of his life by not taking more challenging classes on school or not going for his dream job. On the other side there may be times when he rushed in on an opponent without thinking. This could reflect those times when he would be more aggressive with people such as those times he may speak without thinking of the consequences and how his words would impact others. This book is part autobiography and part roadmap for life. Of course, it also includes many practical tips for the serious martial artist as well.
