"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." LUKE 19:10 The relationship of the Shepherd has been a very real one for me. I had the personal experience of Him seeking me out when He, in His great love, came unbidden into my room some 42 years ago and transformed a lost and hopeless man. I have known the discipline of his rod and the guidance of His staff and have indeed found comfort in both. Always His love has kept me in His grasp and I carry an unspeakable debt of gratitude to the Chief Shepherd of my soul. This collection of brief devotions is meant to serve as seeds sown into the hearts and minds of those who love and follow the Great Shepherd. They are not intended to be exhaustive teachings in themselves but merely gateways into His pasture. This small book is offered with the prayer that the Holy Spirit would be pleased to encourage others to find His paths which will lead to still waters and the restoration of their souls.
