The present book is a culmination of very honest and sincere efforts, keeping in view the level and aspiration of pharmacy students at the undergraduate level. This book is designed to impart basic knowledge on the chemical structure, storage conditions and medicinal uses of organic and inorganic chemical substances used as drugs and pharmaceuticals. It will discuss the following aspects of the chemical substances used as drugs and pharmaceuticals for various disease conditions. The chemical classification, chemical name, chemical structure, pharmacological uses, doses, stability and storage conditions of different types of formulations/dosage form available and their brand names. We have tried to make things simpler and easily understandable to our students, for whom this book has been written.
