Lee Strobel (nacido el 25 de enero de 1952 en Arlington Heights, Illinois) es un autor cristiano, apologista y ex periodista estadounidense, conocido por su serie de libros The Case for... que exploran la evidencia histórica y científica detrás de las afirmaciones del cristianismo.

Graduado en periodismo por la Universidad de Missouri y con una Maestría en Derecho por la Facultad de Derecho de Yale, Strobel trabajó durante 14 años como editor legal en The Chicago Tribune, donde recibió premios por su labor en periodismo de investigación y servicio público. En 1981, tras investigar exhaustivamente la evidencia sobre Jesús para refutar la fe cristiana de su esposa, se convirtió al cristianismo. Posteriormente, se dedicó al ministerio, siendo pastor en iglesias como Willow Creek Community Church y Saddleback Church, y enseñó Derecho Constitucional en la Universidad Roosevelt y Teología Cristiana en la Universidad Bautista de Houston.

Strobel ha escrito más de 40 libros, entre ellos The Case for Christ, The Case for Faith, The Case for a Creator y The Case for Grace, que han vendido más de 18 millones de copias y han sido traducidos a 40 idiomas. En 2017, su historia fue adaptada al cine en la película The Case for Christ. En 2023, recibió el Premio Pilar de Historia del Museo de la Biblia.
