Woman From ReeeK'ew is compassionate, but at times too forgiving. In a society that emphasizes accountability, she struggles to hold people accountable although she holds herself to a high personal standard. This may be due in part to her social standing, as well as her upbringing. Proud Man From Wehl-kwew pays her father the Bride Price for her; however, it's up to her and her father whether they will accept it. He is a older man of means, and can pay her Bride Price in full, which means a "full marriage," so she would go and live with his family. However, since childhood her closest friend has been Man from "O Schegep" (the boat landing at Rek' -woy, a reddish cliff to the west of the mouth of the Klamath). His father feels some disappointment in him due to the pleasure he takes in supporting others to aid in their success rather than in creating his own success. This is what Woman From Reeek'ew admires most about him. Who's Bride Price will she accept? Will she choose the security of a slightly older established man or will the qualities of the man her own age appeal to her?
