Through a combination of hypnotic regression and clairvoyance, the author immerses the reader in a wholly alien, but irresistibly fascinating reality, a reality so shocking to be almost an assault on reason and on every preconceived notion of the concept of time. This is not a study into the paranormal as such, nor is it a historical analysis, it is the happenings themselves, as told by people in trance. Spanning the history of humanity from Atlantis down to the present day, the past life experiences presented here are so intense and are related with such vivacity, that the reader almost becomes part of them, sharing the subject's exultations, bafflements and fears. Not only are many "ordinary" lifetimes explored, but those of several historical personages as well, such as Spartacus, Cleopatra and Robin Hood. An accredited scholar and experienced archaeologist, the author gained his PhD in Byzantine history at the Sorbonne in 2001 and has been hypnotising and regressing people ever since.
