This book is not about Mormonism at all, it is about Joseph Smith interacting with the Ogle Family and FreeMasonry. The progress of time is not as Steven Moffat pointed out spoken so eloquently by David Tennant not a progress of linear progression, but very much of a wibbly wobbly thing. Where a person can have the most profound behavior patterns based on a personal perspective of events which took place at any given distance in the past. The Ogle or Northumberland Family recreated FreeMasonry in their Kingdom, part of that Knowledge was passed to Joseph Smith who took the information and founded the LDS Mormon church based from it. The story of how that occurred is what this sequence of books is about.
