Education, striving, studying under the gloomy light of a wick lamp made them victorious, but undoubtedly it was God who sustained them, by that invisible thread only reserved for those who dare, the brave, those for whom going backwards was not one of their mottoes. Mamma Clara, from within her pain, knew how to encourage them and I am convinced that she knew in advance that every one of her prayers would be heard in the heavens.
