I thought I had it all. And then I lost it. My marriage, my sanity, and almost my life. On the surface, it seemed that I had it all - smart, witty, cute(ish), a great husband, great job. The American dream. Until that dream crumbled and my husband said he wanted a divorce. I had also been diagnosed with ADHD, and wrongly assumed that I could fix everything. Terrified of being on my own, petrified of not knowing what life had in store for me, I actually contemplated suicide. After hitting rock bottom, I started climbing back up, but hit some major speed bumps along the way, including a con man and a sex offender. They taught me valuable lessons, and gave me a hilarious stranger than fiction story that you have to read to believe. The good news is, I am now stronger and tougher that I ever thought I would need to be, and I am sharing my story to inspire others to keep going when the chips are down. There is no shame or guilt in whatever you are going through-everyone has something. We're all in this together. I thought I had it all. Turns out I still do.
