Reseña del libro "Narratology: The Study of The Narrative Vol. 2 of 2 (en Inglés)"

A narrative technique (also known, more narrowly for literary fictional narratives, as a literary technique, literary device or fictional device) is any of several specific methods the creator of a narrative uses to convey what they mean to say. Narratology is the study of "The Narrative" and " The Techniques of Spinning or Controlling" the narrative. In todays' media you will hear the term of controlling the narrative. This is due to the fact that perspectives and agendas differ, especially in the political arena.Learn the techniques of this book and it will revolutionize the way you understand and communicate ideas. In other words, the 'spinning' or control of the narrative being communicated, is a strategy used in the making of a narrative to relay information to the audience and, particularly, to "develop" the narrative, usually in order to make it more complete, complicated, interesting or sell an agenda which can range from propaganda to a religious belief. Narratology refers to both the theory and the study of narrative structure and the ways that these affect our perception. It the simplest of terms, narratology has sometimes been refered to as the art of story-telling. This art refers to the writing techniques involved in scripting everything from a novel, a screenplay, and an essay to a thesis. While in principle the word, narratology, may refer to any systematic study of narrative. In practice its usage is rather more restricted. Narratology is applied retrospectively as well to work predating its coinage. Its theoretical lineage is traceable to Aristotle (Poetics) but modern narratology is agreed to have begun with the Russian Formalists. This book is designed to be a general overview of the topic and provide you with the structured knowledge to familiarize yourself with the topic at the most affordable price possible. The level of discussion is that of Wikipedia. The accuracy and knowledge is of an international viewpoint as the edited articles represent the inputs of many knowledgeable individuals and some of the most currently available general knowledge on the topic based on the date of publication.
