The most impactful journey is experienced when we stop looking outward to find our purpose. Purpose is revealed inward first, then exposed outwardly. This book serves as a testament from a corner in my closet. Amongst all the things I've done in this lifetime, I found that unbecoming was essential to finding my true identity. Behind the many bandages, behind the makeup, behind the masks, was a foreign figure that I didn't recognize. I went through an identity crisis after identity crisis because I tried to be everything that I, simply, was not. It wasn't until God showed me that everything I needed, I had. "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us."(II Corinthians 4:7 NKJV) He created me for a work that will be revealed to me when I focus on what He's already given me. My charge for you while reading is to "take IT off."
